WQXR RADIO FEATURE
Yvette is featured on leading classical radio station WQXR as part of their Young Artists Showcase. The Young Artists Showcase is a WQXR weekly radio show that since 1978 has sought out and displayed the talents of young emerging artists.
2023 IFAC HANDA AUSTRALIAN SINGING COMPETITION
Yvette is named one of five national finalists of the 2023 IFAC Handa Australian Singing Competition. She will be featured in the finals concert alongside the Opera Australia Orchestra under the baton of Vladimir Fanshil on August 31.
QUEEN ELISABETH COMPETITION 2023
Yvette sings for the first round of the 2023 Queen Elisabeth Voice Competition, taking place on Sunday 21 and Monday 22 May at Flagey in Brussels.
John Alexander Vocal Competition
Yvette has been named the First Place prizewinner of Opera Mississippi’s 2022 John Alexander Vocal Competition.
CARNEGIE HALL CITYWIDE RECITAL
Yvette performs a solo recital as part of the Carnegie Hall Citywide series, alongside pianist Gracie Francis.
MARLBORO MUSIC FESTIVAL
Yvette has been selected as a resident artist at the 2022 Marlboro Music Festival, joining the roster amongst Mitsuko Uchida, Jennifer Johnson Cano, and others.
ARTIST IN RESIDENCE AT OPERATION OPERA
Yvette will be joining Four Corners Ensemble’s Operation Opera festival at Gonzaga University as the Artist in Residence. She will be working with students in masterclass and performing the lead role of Iris Chang in the orchestral premiere of Shuying Li’s opera When the Purple Mountains Burn.

WOMEN NOW RECITAL
Ms. Keong opens the Women Now Festival, presented by EXTENSITY Concert Series, in a recital featuring all living women composers. The program includes works by Libby Larsen, Tonia Ko, Jennifer Higdon, Shuying Li, and more.

Yvette has been named the Third Prize winner of the 2021 Gerda Lissner Lieder/Song Competition.

Yvette has been selected as one of six singers worldwide to participate in SongStudio at Carnegie Hall, led by Renée Fleming.

Soprano Yvette Keong only musician among 2020 Paul & Daisy Soros Fellows
Yvette has been named a 2020 winner of The Paul & Daisy Soros Fellowship, supporting outstanding immigrants and children of immigrants who are pursuing a graduate education in the United States. Selected from 2,211 applicants, the 30 recipients were chosen for their potential to make significant contributions to the United States and will receive up to $90,000 in funding over two years.

Yvette has been named a finalist of the James Toland Vocal Arts Competition.
METROPOLITAN OPERA NATIONAL COUNCIL AUDITIONS
Ms. Keong has been named an Eastern Region Finalist of the Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions.
Yvette named winner of 2019 Nora Goodridge Young artist award
Ms. Keong has been named the winner of the Australian Music Foundation’s Nora Goodridge Young Artist Award of 2019. The Australian Music Foundation aims to promote and celebrate Australian musical life by supporting the careers of young Australian musicians in their post-graduate studies overseas.
